June 2022, Phase 1 of a whole tire fuel feed system to the backend of the precalciner kiln at the Lichtenberg South Africa plant. This includes a double gate airlock valve with maintenance gate, a 3-zone tire accumulation slide, and a tire weighing conveyor. Upon successful test burning a second phase will be executed to include a tire loading belt conveyor at ground level, a hook elevator and a series of AFS high performance belt driven roller conveyors to feed the phase 1 system.
