Skewer Suspension Burner

Midlothian Cement Plant (TXI) – Midlothian, TX (2012) –  AFS was commissioned to provide a turnkey Whole Tire and RDF/PEF Fuel Feed System for Kiln 5 of the TXI, Midlothian Texas Cement Plant. The system was designed to automatically feed whole tires from the existing Kiln 4 Tire Fuel System to the calciner of Kiln 5 utilizing our patented Tire Skewer Suspension Burner. This was the very first application of the suspension burning system technology, which system included options for a 15 ton/hour RDF/PEF feed system.
